In this annual issue of The Absolute Sound, writers list their choices for the best products that they would buy themselves or recommend to family and friends.

In Julie Mullins' review of the Platinum 500 II, she praised the 6' tower for its "big, bold, immersive sound" and said it "proved endlessly enjoyable in their layers of depth and detail, delightful musicality, and overall coherence".

Julie also reviewed the Gold 300, saying it had "noteworthy detail and resolution", as well as "compelling listening".

Robert Harley reviewed the Silver 300, calling it "an extremely accomplished product". Robert said the Silver 300 is "a full-range speaker capable of extended bass reproduction and wide dynamic contrasts". The bass in particular he called "remarkable in extension and articulation", saying the speaker "plays much bigger than its size and delivers a satisfyingly solid bottom end".

The STUDIO was reviewed by Drew Kalbach, who called the pair of bookshelf speakers "solid-sounding beasts with really superb design aesthetics". Drew said he was "immediately drawn to how clear and concise they sound", while also commenting on the STUDIO's bass notes, saying they "have remarkable depth in the low end".
