Toronto Audiofest Show Reports
Michi made its official North American debut at this year's Toronto Audiofest. Joined by Monitor Audio's critically acclaimed Gold 300s, the system demo combined elegance, unparalleled sound quality, and exceptional value in the world of high-end audio.
"...it blew us away", said Malcolm J. Gomes from Positive Feedback, who stopped by our room at the show to listen to the demo. "The bass reproduction had to be the best that we heard at this Show. It was well controlled, very tuneful and deep enough to feel in our bones. The midrange and highs were equally impressive."
Malcolm went on to say, "this was, by far, the best sounding under $60,000 system that we heard at this Show."
Suave Kajko from NOVO Magazine, who also stopped by our room at the show, said the Michi system "graced me with an amazingly large and deep soundstage, and exposed the finest musical details even at low / moderate listening level."
Suave went on to say, "both sonically and visually, this was one of the most satisfying systems I heard at this year's show."
Michi Overview
Michi includes 3 new models: the P5 Stereo Pre-amplifier, S5 Stereo Power Amplifier, and M8 Monoblock Power Amplifier. All models are fully featured and include a front panel high resolution display, IR remote control for ease of setup and operation, and RS232 and Ethernet connections for simplified control system integration.
Over 5 decades of design experience, critical review of all sonic components and a bespoke acoustic tuning process coupled with a dedicated in-house Michi manufacturing facility ensures these products are positioned at the top of the audio field, delivering unsurpassed levels of audio performance from the most elegant of industrial designs.
