The Holiday season is upon us, and naturally there will be customers inquiring about 5.1 speaker packages that will add high quality audio performance to their home theater systems.

Gold 200 5.1 System Review

Monitor Audio's Gold 5.1 System was reviewed by Doug Blackburn from Widescreen Review Magazine. The system included the Gold 200, Gold C250, Gold FX and Gold W12.

Doug said the Gold system "was fabulous at bringing out all the detail in the soundtrack". Commenting on the bass, Doug said, "its bass capabilities are better than you may expect for the size... Bass integrated so well with the other loudspeakers that it seemed like each loudspeaker was a full-range loudspeaker".

Doug concluded his review by stating, "The Monitor Audio Gold 5.1 system is as good as systems get in this price range... the performance you get for your expenditure is just incredible. This is another system that breaks my heart to have to return to the manufacturer. Recommended without reservation."

MASS 5.1 System Review

Monitor Audio's MASS 5.1 System was reviewed by David Susilo from Wifi Hifi Magazine. The system features 5 identical MASS Satellites with a MASS Subwoofer.

David called the MASS system "expansive and realistic" and also said "it sounded remarkable."

He concluded his review stating, "the new MASS 5.1 is an amazing set of speakers; they are uncannily adept at conveying fine detail. It's a very engaging and immersive system, and its incisive tone is well suited to atmospheric soundtracks".
